Fiction <(~)~(o)>

A fiction is a deliberately fabricate lie.    Fiction is also a literary genre.

Did you ever notice how often in daily life, out of facility, we skew our stories?  We leave out details for time or to further our point, maybe even tweak the story because we’ve mis-remembered a detail or two?  My favorite kind of lies are the ones that hurt no one, but are written intentionally.  They are the fictions we put to paper to show a world that could be when the nightmare we are living overwhelms us or when the joy cannot be contained.  Fiction can, in so many ways, show us the truth that sometimes gets lost in the facts.

I hope you enjoy this little sampling of short stories and micro fictions.
