It’s good to watch some older movies that remind us that filmmaking is not supposed to be conservative. It doesn’t have to be perfect and should make us look at ourselves and our societies. It is also good to remind us that what we think are problems new to “our generation” very rarely are. In that sense, this movie was fantastic.
Although the movie is dated and the story very weak in some places, I did enjoy what they were trying to do.
I wouldn’t recommend it to everyone, but if you’re into conspiracies, and/or you made it through Zardoz unscathed, you should give it a try.
